Nerdd Twitch Channel!

That’s right! Last week was our birthday, and in our Happy Birthday post, I mentioned that while our podcasts were stopped due to Covid, that we had new video content in the works.

Starting today, we have a new Twitch Channel!

If you don’t know what Twitch is, allow me to explain for a moment. Twitch is a live streaming platform, that focuses on fans of video games. That means that when you go to Twitch, you can watch other people play video games, and when you comment on their video, they will see it immediately, and can respond to you in real time.

The website started as, as a guy named Justin made an experiment where he filmed himself 24/7 and streamed it directly online for the world to see. Within a few months the site exploded, and several people began live streaming on it. Since then, they have rebranded to support their most popular and prominent streamers, gamers.

If you are looking for the most advanced player on Twitch…well this isn’t that.

If you are looking for a fun, family friendly gamer, then this IS that!

While she won’t always be playing the most popular games, she will be playing games that she loves, and enjoying them in fun and exciting ways.

Every Monday at 7:30pmEST, and every Saturday at 10:30amEST, she will be playing live.

On Mondays she’ll be playing fun, single player games like Journey or Uncharted.

Then on Saturdays she’ll be playing online games with me, like Rocket League or Fortnite.

Sometimes she’ll actually be doing speedruns or completions of a game, like for Spyro, which should be coming up in the next few weeks.

Overall, that’s a new space to watch out for, as we start to build another community on that site, and hopefully find more friends on Twitch.

If this is something you’d be interested in, head over to and hit follow, where you can see the upcoming schedule, and get notified whenever she goes live.

This says 6:30, but it’s 7:30 now.

Hope to see you there!

What kinds of games do you think she should play? Let us know in the comments below!
