2020 has been a heck of a year. If you are in the US, you have been waiting for the past three days to find out who has won the presidential election, and it seems like it’s going to be a few days more.
So, I am in need of some wisdom, and, as usual, I turn to my fandoms to give me some.
I hope that some of these pearls are able to help you as well.

This isn’t it.
This is today’s reality.

There is no monster more dangerous than a lack of compassion.

War tends to distort our point of view. If we sacrifice our code, even for victory, we may lose that which is important for our honor.

If you focus on what you’ve left behind, you will never be able to see what lies ahead.

In a dark place we find ourselves, and a little more knowledge lights our way.

“Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You can’t always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if you just keep moving, you will come to a better place.”

Happiness can be found, even in the darkness of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

In any war, there are calms between storms. There will be days when we lose faith. Days when our allies turn against us…but the day will never come that we forsake this planet and it’s people.

Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found. I have found that it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay.
Small acts of kidness and love.
