The Nerdd turns 3 years old today!
Three years ago we wrote a review on the Marvel Netflix show Luke Cage.

This year was not what we expected it to be, but when does a whole year ever go the way you thought it would?
In 2019, we wrote 94 articles, totaling 105,686+ words (including this article you’re reading)! That makes our all time total at 281 articles and 269,503+ words!
As of the posting of this article, we have had a total of 13,885 visitors, and 21,072 views! Our most popular article written this year was our Watchmen vs. The Boys, and our most popular article of all time is Pop Culture Heroes as D&D Characters. We have over 200 subscribers, and appreciate every single one of them!

Chanel and Sean were able to attend two different gaming conventions this year, SaltCon and TimpCon, and we can’t wait to see what conventions are waiting for us next year (hint: we might have a GENeral idea…)

Our team has added some members, as well as lost a few along the way.
One of our team members Jessica Marie Nichols has a children’s book that she is publishing, called The Weird Thing, and illustrated by a guy who worked on The Road to El Dorado and Treasure Planet.

Friend of The Nerdd Scott Krammer is playtesting his two TtRPGs that he’s designing, Ascent and Shatterkin.

Our podcast Around the Table in 80 Dice has consistently put out four episodes a month, each month playing a different game. As the show grows and we learn what it takes to make a quality and successful podcast, it becomes more and more exciting to be a part of it.

We are on a hiatus with Pave Your Own Road, with hopes to return to it soon. We want it to be a show where we show people living their best lives, and for it to be both helpful and inspirational for others, and until we can give it the attention it deserves, we would rather take a break, than do a poor job.

We tried to have an Essential Comics Reading List as a feature of the site, as opposed to an article, but we ended up taking that down as it didn’t seem to be very popular. We might try something similar again in the future.
We want to hear from you! Who are you, what brought you to The Nerdd, and more! Without people coming to the website and reading, this is nothing more than shouting into the void. So if you’re reading this right now, thank you so much. I want to make this something that is worthy of your time, and something you want to come back to again.
If you could, go fill out THIS SURVEY, and let us know a little more about you!
