What Are Your Thoughts on Star Wars?

With the new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming out today, I thought we could try something new. Instead of me writing about my thoughts, I’d thought I’d make a request.

Can you, if you are reading this, comment below with your opinion on the new Star Wars movie if you’ve seen it, on the sequel trilogy, or even about The Mandalorian if you’re more excited about that.

I want to hear what you think, and talk with you about it. I want this to be a dialogue between you and I, a conversation between all the readers.

So, I ask, what are your thoughts on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker? Let’s discuss in the comments below.

    1. I agree. It might come down to a “Rogue One” scenario, where a whole side story has to be made to justify the situations made in the main story, but if that’s just a reason to have more Star Wars, you won’t see me complaining.

  1. I loved it. It was a great way to tie up the series as a whole. Were some things over the heads of many folks? Yes. Did I have to go double check things? Yes. But overall, it was fun, it was stunning, and it did it’s job concluding. Going to see it again this week!

  2. I felt the first 30 min or so was rushed. They had a lot to set up for their main plot. That was my only real complaint. I think it worked out well.

    1. I’d say I agree. The beginning feels a bit like a fetch quest in a video game, and probably could have been cut down, but once we got that rerun cameo (no spoilers) I think the pacing from there on out was a lot easier to handle. Thanks for reading!
