Passionate. Inclusive. Intentional.
Who Are You?
Do you like “Nerdy” or “Geeky” things?
- Star Wars
- Superheroes
- Harry Potter
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Zombies
- Fandom in General?
Do you go to your local convention, and treat it like a 3-day vacation? Planning, saving, making sure you have your outfits and cosplays ready to go?
But what about after the con? You say to yourself, “Only 362 days until the next convention!”
That doesn’t have to be the case!

What is The Nerdd?
The Nerdd is your year round convention! A place to go to have in depth conversations about your favorite fandom, some based on panels we’ve been on!
- What Makes Disney Characters Compelling?
- Cyber-Psychology
- Pop Culture Heroes as D&D Characters
- Villains and Mental Health
A place to find what comics you should read next! Not the newest ones (support your local comic shop) but some of the best ones to read.
- 10 Great Comic Book Stories
- 10 of the Best Comics Set in Alternate Dimensions
- 5 Vertigo Comics for the 5th of November
- Amazing Non DC/Marvel Comics to Read
As we grow, we intend to have an artists alley, where you can find amazing art, or even a “Vendor Floor.” But that will have to wait.
Maybe your favorite part of a convention is the Cosplay, and you love to see people’s genius creations!
Basically, this is the place for you to get that convention buzz all year round, and maybe find a new local con in between!
Is It Just a Blog?
Nope! We also have a Twitch Channel, where Chanel plays family-friendly games, and chats with her audience regularly! She started with a lot of speedruns of Spyro the Dragon, but plays many more games as well!

We have also had podcasts! While our podcast branch of the site is on hiatus due to the Covid pandemic, the episodes are still available to listen to, and more shows are sure to come in the future.
The first podcast is called Pave Your Own Road! We interviewed entertainers and entrepreneurs about the how and why they ditched the 9-5 to build their own career! A smaller version of a mainstage celebrity panel, but packed full of content none the less.
We also had Around the Table In 80 Dice! Every month we took another look at a Tabletop Role Playing Game, and it’s great if your game group wants to try something new, but not sure what they would like. Can’t have a convention without some gaming tables!
Who Am I?
My name is Sean Tasker! I’m from Orlando, Florida and I feel most at home at a comic convention. The way everyone expresses themselves, and enjoy a celebration of their fandom makes me feel amazing.

My wife and I have been panelists at FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention as well as Snake River Fandom Con.
It’s not just us two though! We have had a number of other authors in the past, as well as continuing to write for us!
- Chanel Tasker
- Jon Lauer
- Chaz McDonald
- Jessica Marie Nichols
- The Brown Messiah
- Scott Krammer
- Tyler Jones
